Mindscaping and Self-Scaping are based on the concept that persons have an internal map with metaphors for each topic or issue they are confronted with as an internal mental representation. These methods are similar to guided visualization or imagery as sometimes used in Mindfulness routines.
Often we are completely mentally captured in a fear-driven Reality Loop or Reality Tunnel which puts us in a negative trance state, in which we perceive reality in the context of a belief we constructed ourselves, or often others have placed on us. We want to dehypnotize ourselves and be free from these negative belief systems and the resulting limitations for all the future and create new empowering loops giving us an exciting future in which we can fulfill our dreams.
